Better Better Help
One silver lining of the pandemic has been the expansion of available telehealth services for our community. In the midst of this expansion, national-based services like Better Help have offered online telehealth. I have been delighted to see how the playing field has been equalized in terms of access for mental health services.
Just like any service that is offered at a national (versus local) level, there are a few differences I see in what our community-based practice can offer, versus a national provider:
We are linked with local pediatricians and physicians and are equipped to collaborate on an ongoing basis.
We have connections to our local schools and collaborate with teachers and administrators.
We are aware of ongoing developments in our community - developments to be celebrated and grieved.
We are here for the whole family and equipped to work not only with individuals, but within entire family systems.
We can provide both in-person and telehealth services.
